The Brandt School’s Alumni Relations Team invites current students and MPP alumni alike to join the first Alum Talk of 2022 on careers in the public sector

Public Sector Careers in Sustainability and Durable Solutions.

Brandt School alumnas Daniela Martínez Garza and Marina Heft will talk about their individual career paths, which led them to the UNHCR in Mexico-City and the “Thüringer Ministerium für Umwelt, Energie und Naturschutz” in Erfurt, respectively.

Both burn for the topic of sustainability in their respective fields of work and it will be interesting to look for intersections and differences here.

Alumni Relations Manager Florian Heintze and the Brandt School Student Government will interview Daniela and Marina on their professional life after graduation.

Part of the event will also be an open discussion where our alums will be happy to answer practical questions from current MPP students and fellow alums regarding their career paths after the MPP.

Daniela Martínez Garza works as a Durable Solutions Officer at the UNHCR in Mexico-City. She graduated from the Brandt School in 2014.

Marina Heft works as a Referentin/ Koordinatorin Bildung für nachhaltige Entwicklung at the Thüringer Ministerium für Umwelt, Energie und Naturschutz. She graduated from the Brandt School in 2021.
