On this day, the 2024 fellowship holders will be welcomed as well as former students from the first year. Gotha's Mayor Knut Kreuch will also be our guest.

Unfortunately, the planned evening lecture "Nach der Natur: Der Frankfurter Flughafen und die Geschichte des Umweltwissens" by Assistant Professor Dr Nils Güttler (Vienna) has been cancelled due to illness.

Instead, the award-winning historian of science Priv.-Doz. Dr Janina Wellmann will give a lecture entitled "In the year 1675 I discover’d living creatures in rain water. Lebendigkeit und Bewegung in der Frühen Neuzeit".

The event will be held in German language. Further information on the lecture and the speaker can be found in the German language version of this page.
