Academic Appointments – Central Committees – Structural Planning

The staff unit for Academic Appointments, Central Committees and Structural Planning is responsible for academic appointment management. This also includes tasks related to the establishment of tenure-track and career-track professorships. In addition, the staff unit provides support to the Senate, the University Council, and the University Assembly.

In addition to special project-related tasks, the unit also handles strategic tasks related to structural and development plans. These include, among other things, academic appointment planning as well as target and performance agreements with the faculties. Furthermore, the unit handles reporting tasks to the state.

  • Collection, comparison, evaluation, and analysis of data and information relevant to management
  • Preparation of concepts, planning documents, and regulatory texts for the Presidium
  • (Coordination of) central reporting to the state
  • Collaboration in the area of structural and development planning (target and performance agreements with the faculties, strategic academic appointment planning, etc.)
  • Project-related special tasks
