AI & Schools: The AIS.Chatbot in Thuringian schools

With AIS.chat, Thuringia is providing its schools with an AI chatbot that brings generative artificial intelligence to life in the classroom, within an educational framework and in compliance with data protection regulations. Teachers can use the platform to create a secure learning environment in which pupils can experiment with generative AI, use it in a reflective manner and receive targeted support in developing relevant skills. The first (shorter) part of the event examines key framework conditions in the field of schools and AI. The second part explains the chatbot’s core functions, which can be used to generate subject-specific content and apply it in various teaching contexts. The workshop is aimed in particular at teachers and students on teacher-training courses.
