Learning Agreement and recognition of study achievements completed abroad

The recognition of academic achievements completed abroad becomes necessary if you have already completed a course of study abroad prior to your studies at the University of Erfurt or if you go abroad for a semester or a year during your studies at the University of Erfurt. In the latter case, you must conclude a Learning Agreement before starting your stay abroad, which regulates which courses you will attend abroad and how they will be recognised at the University of Erfurt after successful completion.

There are different procedures for students who take part in an exchange programme with a European partner university using the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) and for students who have completed coursework at another foreign university before or during their studies in Erfurt.

Erasmus programme

Procedure for concluding the Online Learning Agreement (OLA) and for the recognition of academic achievements for students taking part in an Erasmus exchange programme using the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).

Non-Erasmus programme

Procedure for concluding the Learning Agreement and for the recognition of academic achievements for students who have studied or will study abroad at a host institution which is not affiliated to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).
