Under the claim "I do research, so I can ... ", the Founders Service of the University of Erfurt cordially invites interested early-stage researchers to take part in a free 2.5-day workshop on identifying transfer potential in their own research foci. Together with the agency Görgen & Köller GmbH, which focuses specifically on raising the profile of innovative transfer approaches from universities with a humanities, cultural and social science orientation, this is a unique opportunity to look at your own research from a slightly different perspective. The programme, developed in cooperation with universities in Bristol, Oxford and Kent, aims to take a closer look at previous research results in a structured process and to analyse them for possible broad impact on society. You will be individually accompanied by experienced innovation coaches throughout the entire process. Looking beyond your own nose also opens up the opportunity to get to know start-ups as an alternative career path in the scientific context and to take the first steps towards developing a sustainable business model based on your own research.

Deadline for submission of a short expression of interest (one-pager on the research project): 30 June 2023.
