Online series "Humanities & Social Sciences and the Arts - via Transfer to Impact" from 06.12.2022

On 6 December, from 13:00 - 14:00, the free online kick-off event for a new four-part series of events: "Transfer in the Humanities and Social Sciences, Arts & Design" will be held by TransferAllianz e.V. (German Association for Knowledge and Technology Transfer).

 

The four-part online event series is an offer for the exchange and networking of transfer institutions and their staff. Each of the four event dates focuses on one aspect of the transfer of non-technical knowledge or its economic, ecological and social impact.

At each event, a tandem of experts will share their perspectives and experiences with the participants in short impulses and discuss them in a moderated exchange. To kick off the series, a representative of the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and a representative of the Burg Giebichenstein Halle School of Art will share their experiences with the transfer of knowledge from Arts and Design.

Learn from reports on the experiences of internationally renowned experts and find out more about the role of the arts in transfer, suitable framework conditions for transfer in the arts as well as obstacles to transfer and fields of transfer in the arts as well as interdisciplinary research platforms at the interface of design, science and society.
