As part of the nationwide Boys' Day, we offer boys from the 9th grade onwards exciting insights into the career field of primary school teaching. You can look forward to lectures and impulses, creative workshops and interesting discussion rounds.
Boys' Day is a unique opportunity for you to immerse yourself in the diverse world of appointments and break through traditional gender stereotypes. This special day allows you to get in touch with social, nursing or educational activities, as well as the traditional job profiles. This day opens up new perspectives and helps you to make an informed decision about your future career .
Programme
At the University of Erfurt, we give you an insight into the primary school teaching profession. You can look forward to exciting lectures and impulses, creative workshops and interesting discussion rounds. The events are primarily aimed at boys from year 9 onwards.
Programme items:
- Mathematics: Von Papyrus zu Bits und Bytes – Pythagoras würde staunen
- Social Studies and Science / educational garden - Sachunterricht anschaulich gestalten - Den Klimawandel durch eigenes Handeln verstehen lernen
- Getting a taste of the lecture theatre with students
- Lunch break in the university cafeteria
- Werkstatt für Medienbildung: Einführung und verschiedene Mitmachangebote
- a) Recordings with the animation box,
- b) filming with green screen and video prompter and
- c) Robotics and programming
- and a brief introduction to the new bachelor's programme "Medienbildung & Informatik" at the University of Erfurt
