Introduction: Masterclass in professorial lecturing

The introductory workshop is the prelude to the Masterclass: Professorial lecturer and lays the foundation for your strategic development as a teaching personality. Together with your exclusive peer group, you will reflect on your understanding of teaching, sharpen your individual profile and formulate initial goals for your didactic development as part of the Masterclass.

The workshop will focus on

• Getting to know each other & finding a group - Establishing a trusting working atmosphere for collegial collaboration across faculty boundaries

• Profile clarification & target agreement - reflecting on your teaching practice to date and developing individual target perspectives for the coming year

• Orientation in the programme - presentation of the building blocks of the Masterclass, role clarification and linking to your professional practice

• Start of portfolio work - initial impulses for self-directed reflection on your teaching and support for the development process

The workshop is practice-orientated and opens up space for exchange, reflection and perspective development. It offers you a structured introduction to a year of targeted professionalisation, accompanied by coaching, workshops, observations and curriculum work.
