Lecture Series: "Fake News Made in Russia"

In the winter semester of 2022/23, the University of Erfurt, the Thuringian State Parliament and the "Thüringer Allgemeine" newspaper will continue their joint lecture series, which features distinguished experts from the fields of communication and politics to create a broad network between academia, politics and the media. This time, the topic is "Playing with Fear. Disinformation, Threats and Energy Warfare." The next date is December 15, 2022.

Then Sarah Pagung from the German Council on Foreign Relations will be a guest at the University of Erfurt. She is known from various TV formats - as an expert on Russian foreign and security policy as well as Russia's information policy. The title of her lecture is "Fake News Made in Russia - Disinformation as an Instrument of Russian Foreign Policy in Germany".

The event will begin at 6:15 p.m. at the Centre for Communication and Information (KIZ) on the campus of the University of Erfurt, with admission starting at 6 p.m. All interested parties are cordially invited, admission is free. However, registration at www.thueringer-allgemeine.de/ringvorlesung is requested.
