New version of the library search portal Discovery launched

The content has not changed: You can still search the holdings of the Erfurt University Library and the Gotha Research Library, including journal articles and electronic full texts, as well as the holdings of many other libraries in the library network by changing the search area. All functions for ordering, reservations and managing your own library account are available as well as the integrated services "scanning service" (order for scanning for members of the university) and "linkresolver" (display of an available full text for a printed work). Bilingualism (German and English) is also still guaranteed, as is adaptation to different screen sizes, including smartphones (responsive design).

However, the interface, layout and navigation have been revised with the aim of making operation even more intuitive and easier. In addition, many technical aspects have been fundamentally renewed and modernised to make the application faster and more efficient.
