Currently eligible for the award are international projects that have been launched and have a particular impact on the university campus, as well as tried-and-tested cross-border formats for cooperation in teaching and research. The general aim is to consolidate and implement international course content or formats in the long term, thereby raising the university's profile in a national and international context.
The prize money is €3,000 for first place and €2,000 for second place. It can be used for international projects in teaching and research and is intended to provide targeted support for existing activities or new international collaborations.
The Senate Committee for International Affairs will first make a preliminary selection from all proposals and then recommend prize winners to the Presidium. The prize will be awarded by the Vice-President for International Affairs.
