Fast track to promotion

When Mufutau Muyiwa sets his mind to something, he usually achieves it. Difficult tasks and great challenges magically attract the Nigerian. And of course that also applies to his academic career...

He is obsessed with knowledge and the word "impossible" is not part of his vocabulary - at most in the famous quote by Nelson Mandela, which he has made his life's motto: "It always seems impossible until it is accomplished." The young researcher has just completed his Master's degree in "Global Communication: Politics and Society" at the University of Erfurt - and: Thanks to his academic commitment and great research drive, he was the first student to make it into the Fast Track programme for doctoral studies in this degree programme.
