Erasmus Programme

Do you want to go abroad for one or two semesters during your studies? ERASMUS+ offers you the opportunity to study in another country and thus expand your social and intercultural skills in addition to your professional goals.

The advantages of the ERASMUS programme:

• Exemption from tuition fees at the foreign host university
• Mobility grant, calculated according to country groups
• Contact persons at the home and host universities
• Possibility to participate in free Erasmus online language courses (OLS)
• Recognition of academic achievements attained abroad if previously agreed in a Learning Agreement
• Special grants for students with disabilities, chronic illnesses and with accompanying children

The University of Erfurt offers ERASMUS exchange programmes with around 75 universities in 25 countries. The partnerships are related to particular programmes or fields of study.
