This workshop focusses on a conscious examination of one's own teaching personality. Based on a systemic approach, we look at the role of teachers not as a fixed position, but as a dynamic interplay of attitude, context and relationship. The aim is to sharpen your own teaching identity and increase your teaching effectiveness. Particularly in an increasingly complex and diverse university landscape, one's own teaching personality is becoming a decisive resource: those who are aware of their attitude, values and strengths can not only present themselves more confidently and authentically, but can also teach more effectively, deal better with challenges and create sustainable relationships with students
. The workshop offers space for reflection, reorientation and the development of a coherent, personal understanding of one's own actions - beyond standardised role clichés.
▪ Reflection on your own teaching role: analysis of self-images and images of others, expectations and
understanding of roles.
▪ Practical exercises: Methods from systemic coaching to promote
self-reflection.
▪ Communication and relationship building: Developing an attitude for
appreciative and constructive interaction with students.
▪ Developing a personal mission statement: Developing a coherent self-image for your own teaching practice
