Through guided self-reflection and peer interaction, this workshop helps you answer these critical questions. You'll analyse your professional profile to gain clarity on your transferable skills, values, and career preferences - and learn how to communicate them effectively.

What you'll gain: You'll develop practical skills for career decision-making, including how to assess your strengths and independently gather and analyse information about career paths that interest you. The workshop balances self-reflection with actionable guidance, ensuring you leave with a personalised action plan and concrete next steps.
Pre-workshop requirement: 2 hours of individual preparation work
Dr Christiane Kasack works as a coach and workshop facilitator. As a certified business coach and career counsellor, she supports personal development in time- and self-management as well as career planning.
In 2011, Christiane earned a PhD in the social sciences from the FU in Berlin. After two years of post-doc work, she turned to managing the Hertie School’s PhD programmes and later career development programmes for postdocs at the Head Office of the Helmholtz Association.
