Does ChatGPT change the academic practices and assignments?

In a half-day workshop, Brandt School staff and colleagues discussed ChatGPT and its impacts on higher education and academic practices.

On 12 May 2023, Brandt School staff joint by colleagues from the Faculty of Economics, Law and Social Sciences discussed Artificial Intelligence such as ChatGPT. During the workshop, the participants explored the implications and applications of generative Artificial Intelligence tools in the context on higher education and academic practice. Through some practical examples, the participants experienced the capabilities and possibilities of ChatGPT, but also its clear limitations in academic work. Based on this, the Brandt School will develop a baseline policy on the use of ChaptGPT in assignments.
