Target groups
Postdoctoral researchers are those who have submitted their dissertation. They should also be guaranteed to remain at the University of Erfurt for at least one year.
"Lecturers" refers to lecturers from the postdoctoral researcher phase onwards. In addition to professors and tenure and career track professors, teachers for special purposes who work at the University of Erfurt for a longer period (at least 3 semesters) and adjunct lecturers who are members of the University of Erfurt in accordance with Section 21 (1) sentence 4 ThürHG can also take advantage of coaching.
Co-operative doctoral candidates can also apply for individual coaching. The coaching sessions should focus on the special challenges of cooperative doctorates.
(cooperation between the University of Erfurt and the University of Applied Sciences or cooperation between the University of Erfurt and a non-university research institution).
The programme is only open to members and affiliates of the University of Erfurt.
Procedure
If you are interested in coaching, please fill out the registration form below.
Once we have received your enquiry, we will inform you whether coaching is available. If you are accepted, you will receive suggestions from us as to who might be suitable as a coach. You contact your favourite coach for an introductory meeting (you are also welcome to contact several potential coaches).
You then let us know your preference, submit a coaching agreement and we take care of the contractual aspects. As soon as this is done, you can make appointments with the coach.
Make sure you keep the agreed appointments or cancel them in good time.
Up to 5 coaching sessions of 60 minutes each can be financed.
It is possible to apply for further coaching 12 months after the end of the first coaching session. However, the topics must be different.
After all sessions have been completed, you must submit the documentation form to us.
It goes without saying that your concerns will be treated with absolute confidentiality both during the application process and during the coaching process!
