Welcome to the Erfurt Campus Cup website! Together with all Erfurt universities and the city of Erfurt, a Campus Cup is to be organised every year in future.

1st Erfurt Campus Cup on 25 June 2025

On 25 June 2025, the University of Erfurt is looking forward to hosting the 1st Erfurt Campus Cup . On the occasion of the 9th edition of the traditional campus run there will be two more competitions on the same day this year. Sports enthusiasts from Erfurt's universities can compete in beach volleyball and 3x3 basketball.

Both competitions will take place on Wednesday 25 June (afternoon) on the campus of the University of Erfurt. It starts at 3 pm. There will be a break from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. to allow participation in the team competition of the campus run. This will be followed by the respective final rounds. The award ceremony for all competitions will take place from 8 pm in front of "Lecture Hall 7".

Venues:

  • Digging for honour: Beach volleyball court (behind the sports hall)
  • Erfurt Campus Cup in 3x3 basketball: Max-Weber-Platz at the main entrance to the university
  • Erfurt campus run: Start and finish at the campus meadow, routes (see route map)

As part of the supporting programme, there will be small-sided football, rugby and tee-ball on the large campus meadow, as well as a bouncy castle and a Bambini run for the little athletes.

+++ Please note: Due to the University of Erfurt Campus Cup, the university grounds will be closed to all vehicle traffic on 25 June 2025 from 4.30 pm to 8.30 pm (Max-Weber-Platz from 2 pm). Access to and from the car park harp is guaranteed. +++

Campus run (team)

  • Start: 5 pm in front of the administration building
  • Running course: 25 laps (400 metres each)
  • Number of runners: 2 to 5
  • Entry fee: 25 euros per team
  • Overall classification: m/f (only if all starters are women, there will be a classification in the category w)

Campus run (individual)

  • Start: 6 pm in front of the administration building
  • Running course: 5 laps (2 km each)
  • Entry fee: 5 Euro
  • Overall ranking: m/f 1st-3rd place
  • Thuringian University Championship: m/f 1st-3rd place
