Symposium with Dr Sebastian Thieme, Dr Dr Frank Fehlberg, Professor em. Gertraude Mikl-Horke, Professor Achim Truger, Stephan Kaufmann, Professor Traugott Jähnichen and Dr Patrick Kaczmarczyk in Neudietendorf. A joint event organised by the Protestant Academy of Thuringia in cooperation with the Catholic Social Academy of Austria (ksoe), the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena, Institute of Sociology and the Max Weber Centre for Cultural and Social Science Studies.

With impulses from, among others, the "economic sage" Achim Truger (University of Duisburg-Essen), the “grande dame” of social economics, Gertraude Mikl-Horke (WU Vienna), Stephan Kaufmann, business journalist and author (including Neues Deutschland) and Traugott Jähnichen (University of Bochum). Sebastian Thieme (Catholic Social Academy of Austria) and Frank Fehlberg (Protestant Academy of Thuringia) will lead through the programme.

The symposium is open to the public and free of charge. Students and early-stage researchers in the fields of political science and law, economics and business administration, sociology, political science and history as well as theology, education, cultural studies and religious studies are particularly welcome.
