The seminar focuses on giving lecturers tips on how they can appropriately reflect competences as the interaction of thinking, attitudes and actions in their examinations. In line with current developments, the question of how examinations at universities can meaningfully address the opportunities offered by artificial intelligence (AI) will also be addressed.

About the speaker

Dr Sebastian Walzik studied business education in Nuremberg, Galway (Ireland) and St. Gallen (Switzerland). He wrote his doctoral dissertation on the promotion of social skills at the Institute of Business Education at the University of St. Gallen. He trained in communication psychology with Professor Dr Friedemann Schulz von Thun, in systemic structural constellations according to Professor Dr Matthias Varga von Kibéd (SySt®) and in hypnotherapy according to Milton Erickson. He gives university didactics seminars at various universities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, including the Berlin Centre for University Lecturers, the Centre for University Didactics at the University of St. Gallen and the University of Vienna.
