Conference of the "Open Sustainable Campus Lab" project with the participation of the University of Erfurt

Professor Sandra Tänzer and adjunct Professor Bettina Hollstein from the University of Erfurt will present the Fundamental Studies in Sustainability and the establishment of Education for Sustainable Development (BNE) as service learning. Her workshop will initially focus on the concept of the Studium Fundamentale "Sustainability" and its content and methodological design in terms of BNE – and here in particular on service learning. Subsequently, experiences and conditions for success for practice-oriented BNE in the form of service learning, which were developed in the KLIMA-N project, will be shared and the space opened up for joint discussions, e.g. on the transferability of the format to one's own university, the role of practice partners and their interests or the importance of AI and interpersonal communication.

The conference is aimed at those interested in sustainability at all Thuringian universities: students, employees, decision-makers, administrative and technical staff. All interested parties are cordially invited. Further information and the programme can be found on the event website.
