Starting the winter semester with a new programme: application phase for Master's programmes begins

Now is the time for all those who would like to start studying for the winter semester 2021/22: The application phase for the Master's programmes at the University of Erfurt starts on 15 April. It ends on 15 July. Those wishing to take up a Bachelor's programme can apply from 1 June - the deadline for BA programmes with open admissions is 30 September, for Bachelor's programmes with restricted admissions (NC) it is 31 July.

With almost 50 undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, the range of courses offered by the University of Erfurt is broad, and the questions prospective students often have are many and varied. What fields of study and degrees are there? What requirements do I have to fulfil? Which major subject can I combine with which minor subject and why do I have to study two subjects at the University of Erfurt at all? What application deadlines do I have to observe? Is my A-level grade decisive for the choice of my degree programme and what can I do with it later? The University of Erfurt does not leave first-year students alone with their questions. On its website, it provides comprehensive information on all important topics relating to choosing a course of study and starting your studies. The digital Open Day on 29 May or a personal conversation with the student advice and counselling also offer opportunities to find out more in advance. But also with its online tool "STUDIMAT", it offers an overview of all its Bachelor's programmes and helps to combine them appropriately. In just a few steps, prospective students receive a personal result with quick info on application deadlines, contact persons, study contents as well as portraits of students and graduates of the chosen fields of study.

By the way: The Master's programme "Democracy and Economics" is completely new this year. It is due to start in the winter semester and will expand the range of courses offered by the Faculty of Economics, Law and Social Sciences at the University of Erfurt. But whichever degree programme you choose - students at the University of Erfurt appreciate not only the good support, but also the short distances on campus, the good career opportunities and the study environment in the Thuringian state capital.
