With a funding amount of just under 350,000 €, a research unit will be established over the next two years - essentially supported by two postdoctoral researchers - which will be dedicated to questions of the political configuration of knowledge and its basic parameters, in particular the social effects of the politics of truth. Institutionally, the research unit will serve as a continuation of the internally funded research group "Praxeologies of Truth" and will promote the networking of corresponding basic research in the humanities and social sciences as well as the coordinated acquisition of third-party funding. Immediate plans include scientific workshops and conferences as well as lecture series that address an interested public beyond the university.
