2-day face-to-face workshop in Jena - YES: FROM PHD TO INNOVATOR 2025

How much innovation is there in your research project? In the two-day workshop of the “Young Entrepreneurs in Science (YES)” program for doctoral candidates and postdocs as well as advanced Master's students from all disciplines, you will discover and develop your first entrepreneurial skills in a playful way. Professional innovation coaches will help you to explore the entrepreneurial potential of your research through to a first simple prototype. In small groups, you will develop ideas for a potential business case using innovative methods under guidance. The workshop will take place on both days (1st–2nd October 2025) between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm in Jena. Participation is free of charge and requires no prior knowledge. The workshop will be held entirely in English in order to maximize interdisciplinarity and intercultural exchange.
